A woman was enjoying the view looking out over Back Lake in Pittsburg when she saw a white ball of light floating over the lake. At first she thought it was the moon then realized it was not. The night was hazy, not clear. She described the size of the object as the size of a dime at arms' length. As time passed it floated out of sight.

It was a typical January night in Freemont New Hampshire. A young couple with their children were settling down for the night. The wife let their dogs out for their nightly run but things were strange that night. The dogs would normally run out and take off for parts unknown and she would have to call them back. This night they wouldn't leave her side. She walked about half way down the driveway when she noticed a white orb of light hovering over a sandpit located across the main road in front of their home. Also near the orb was a smaller oval white light with red lights all around the rim. She headed back to the house to tell her husband with dogs close by her side. By now the seven geese in a nearby pen were yelling making quite a ruckus. After hearing what was seen her husband put his shoes on and headed outside. When they reached the place where she had first observed the orb he saw a white orb of white light with multi colored oval balls of light within the orb. The colored oval balls seamed to blend into each other moving around the center of the orb. Colors were blue, red, green and white. Amazed at what he is seeing he crossed the street toward the sandpit to get a looser look. As he approached the sandpit the object raised up from it's low altitude hover and headed toward him. This got his attention and he ran back across the street and called 911 with his cell phone. While he was describing what was happening to the dispatch operator the object moved back to it's original position hovering over the sandpit. There was no sound. In fact it was strangely quiet. Even the gees were now quiet. Suddenly the object started to gain altitude and slowly move across the street in a westerly direction. A red pickup truck approached, slowed but would not stop for our witness. All this time ( several minutes ) he was describing what was happening to the dispatch operator. As the object disappeared behind trees on it's way out of the area the radar detector in his car which was facing away from the object started alarming. After the object was gone and all was back to normal the town police finally show up. We later found out they were parked less than a mile from the area. The witness tried to get a copy of the 911 audio tape but was told it had been erased.
UFO case in the North country.
During the evening of July 3rd 2000 a couple was driving from Colebrook, NH. North on Rt. 3. It was a stormy night with wind, rain and fog. They thought they were heading toward Littleton but had made a wrong turn and were in fact heading away from Littleton. It was about 9:30 PM, they had been driving for about fifteen minutes when the driver saw what she called green fireflies in and around the headlights of the car. Her friend said he noticed more and more fireflies. A few moments later she noticed a neon green capsule shaped object in the sky following their jeep. It was the same color as the fireflies and was at about 200 to 500 feet above them.
They discussed what this thing could be and could find no answer. Suddenly in a split second there was a huge bright flash of light 100 to 200 feet in front of them. It lit up the sky with a bluish white light and was in the form of a "V" shape with the point of the "V" toward the road. Instantly out in front of them was a very dark colored disc shaped object just above the road. It had a dark red or deep maroon color on top with a radish glowing hazy light underneath. They both came to the same conclusion at the same time and that was to get out of there as fast as possible.
She made a sharp U turn and headed away. Due to the bad weather she felt she couldn't drive too fast but was driving as fast as possible given the road conditions. They didn't say a word to each other at that point but he started to pray to God for help. After a short while they began to settle down as they headed away. They began talking again thinking it was all over. Suddenly she said "oh my god it's behind us."
He turned to see it but couldn't at first. She said "off to my left side." He now saw a green glowing cloud heading toward them moving just over the tree tops and very close. He immediately began to pray very loudly and put his hand on her to console her. She decided this was no time for safety and began to drive very fast. She felt it was better to be killed in a traffic accident than to meet up with that thing.
She was now driving at 75 or 80 miles per hour on a wet narrow windy road heading toward Colebrook. No houses were in sight, it was a lonely terrifying time for them. They did spot one dimly lit house but she felt it looked creepy and didn't stop. Eventually they reached Colebrook shaken and frightened they checked into a motel not wishing to travel any more that night.
They called friends and then called the police. A local officer took their report and said he would have the State Police check it out. It was at this time they realized they had made a wrong turn and were headed in the wrong direction in the first place. They didn't sleep much that night and left for Littleton early the next morning.
They continue to try to resolve what happened that July night. Upon returning to the site, they found what they believe is the exact place where she turned the car around after sighting the craft. Sandra Black our Coos County Director is on the case and will do a complete report.
FUND FOR UFO RESEARCH INC.
In the January 21,2000 Fund for UFO Research press release we find China and France are doing a better job of researching UFOs than the US Government. No surprise there. WE do however have good private research groups such as MUFON, The Center for UFO Studies, Etc. For more information about the fund for UFO research you may write to P.O.
